Today's national day.. haha meet my shep today.. n she just gave her sheeps a treat.. yeah!! Thanx a dozen for the blessing shep! =)
After tt, went hm to hav dinner, my dad cooks chilli crab n fried rice.. then my grandpa, grandma n cousin came over too.. had a great dinner.. my dad keeps asking us if wat he cooked is nice.. he only cook one in a blue moon, then keep asking ppl if it's nice though told him dunno hw many times tt it's delicious le.. =P haha think he just like to hear compliments.. ego problem.. hee, jus kidding la..after tt watched ndp.. hee tt's the norm program for us every national day.. think ndp is the time when i c singaporeans display their sense of belonging to s'pore..nearly all the ppl in national stadium dressed in red n was waving the small state flag..if under all circumstances , s'poreans show as much sense of belonging n unity.. tt'll be so powerful.. =)
After ndp, watched premiere of S'pore idol.. haha can really c tt A LOT of ppl wants to be one.. wonder why.. is it really tt gd to be an idol? u'll gain fame, money n admiratn frm ppl when u become an idol..but think will also lose out on many things too, like freedom cos one of the comments Ken Lim gave to a contestant (who after being criticized for her dressing said that she would not change much) was that it's not about what she likes or wants , it's about the consumers, what appeals to the majority..of course she did not get in though think she sang quite well.. then think cannot spend time with family n friends too.. cos think ahv to fly here n there for publication.. then sum more, being an idol is short- lived.. ppl may forget u after sum time.. as new ppl rise up.. then think being an idol hav to put in more effort than an ordinary ppl.. so is being an idol really tt gd?haha i dunno.. think I'll jus be contented with being who God wants me to be..=)
